Weather should be brisk and wintery, perfect for an evening stroll and a perfect opportunity to pop into our local dining and shopping experiences downtown. Here is the lineup you wont’ want to miss! Stroll the street and look for the banners on the sidewalk and then pop inside! Be sure and bring something to drop into the tip jars because “If you’re Happy and You Know it Tip the Act!”
Linda Webb is featured as "Artist in the Window" at the Aloft Art Gallery. Linda paints landscapes in acrylics and she also makes exquisite jewelry. Come in, meet Linda and lots of the other artists while browsing their one of a kind art works.
Tuolumne County Arts will continue their December show and sale...with LuAnn Tillman's "Shibori--ancient Japanese textile process on silk and cotton" AND ceramics by Elizabeth Root. When you visit on Saturday at the corner of Stockton & S. Washington, LOOK DOWN! The students of Waldorf School's 5th grade class will be showing off their project: Diwali-Hindu Festival of Light. Celebrated by virtually the whole of India, everybody adorns their homes with candles and small clay lamps. They also create colorful mandala patterns from sand and place them at the threshold of their homes.
Downtown Shoes features The Shenandoah’s. Come in, sit down, listen to music and try on a pair of shoes perhaps!
Blues Box Bayou Band is on tap for Legends.
DMV will be performing at the Bridal Loft. The space at the Bridal Loft is wonderful for listening to music. It’s also a great place to throw a party. Come in and meet the new owners.
Keith Evans, Richard Sholer and Bob Lehmann will be performing at Rustic Rose. They call themselves Poco Loco. Pop in and get “crazy.”
Blue Oak will be performing at the Next! Upscale Resale Consignment. You can browse around their huge inventory while tapping your foot to the full sounds of Blue Oak.
